Wembley Stadium is a football stadium which is located in Webley, London. It is largest stadium in united kingdom and second largest football stadium in Europe. Apart from football, Webley has been used for other sporting events like greyhouse racing, hockey, Olympic Games any many other.

Architecture:
HOK sports, Nathaniel Lichfield and partners, Foster and partners are the planning consultant of the stadium whereas Symonds is project manager of the stadium. The famous company Mott Stadium Consirtium and Jimmy Higham are structural engineer of the stadium.


Audience:
The capacity of the webley stadium is about 90,000 audience.

  • Stadium has 200 bed hotels, a conference halls, Museum, 8 Restaurants, 1,00,000 m2 office space.
  • It also has  retractable roofs.
  • The stadium contains 2618 toilets which is more than any other stadium in the world.
  • It also has 47 Retail units, 26 lifts, 30 Escalators, 34 Bars, 98 Kitchens, 688 Food and drink service points.

Webley stadium has a large surface of parking area. There are about 3000 car parking space in the stadium. This stadium also share their parking with Webley Arena. 


Hosts:
  • The webley stadium hosts major football matches including England National Football matches and FA cup(Official Football Association Challenge Cup).
  • Stadium has hosted 2011 and 2013 UEFA champions league final.
  • It has also hosted gold medal matches at 2012 Olympic game football tournaments.
