History:

Belgium football team history
In a summer of 1895, a group of representatives from some of the best clubs in Belgium gathered to form an executive committee to govern the sport of soccer in the country. As a result of this initiative, the Belgium union of athletics sports for UBSSA was officially founded on a 1 September 1895.
The organisation also include governing other sports beyond the soccer at that time. The UBSSA was a founding member of the FIFA in 1904.
By 1912, the organisation governing all other sports to become the Union Belge Des Societies De Football Association (UBSFA). Then in 1913, due to Belgium's multi linguine culture, the organisation adapted an additional offitial name 'Belgische Voetbalbond (BVB)'. Finally in 1920, for the organisation's 25th anniversary, King Albert awarded a royal title to the Football Association. So the officially, it became the Union Royale Belge Des Societes De Football Association (URBSFA).
